Waxing is Thea's specialty, for men and women, head to toe. Wax formulated for sensitive areas keeps irritation down, and every appointment includes a skin check and aftercare guidance so your skin recovers well. Bushbalm products are used for pre and post care.

Thea Joseph, licensed esthetician and New Orleans native.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Thea trained in esthiology at the Aveda Institute and built Clean Skin around a simple idea: skin care should be about skin health, not beauty trends. She is a wife, a mother and the curator of every treatment here.

Before your first visit

How do I book an appointment?: Book online through Booker, or call or text (504) 261-4040. A deposit is required to secure your appointment time. Clean Skin is a private, one-client-at-a-time suite, so appointments are arranged directly with Thea.
Where is the studio?: 7809 Airline Drive, Suite 306A, Metairie, LA 70003.
Do you treat men and teens?: Yes. Facials and waxing are offered to men, women and teens, and each treatment is individualized rather than one-size-fits-all.
What happens during my first facial?: It starts with a skin analysis so Thea can see what your skin needs, then the facial is built around that. You leave with aftercare guidance for keeping the results.
